At the West Virginia Hall of Fame our mission is to celebrate and preserve the rich history of West Virginia and its people through a state of the art museum illustrating WV's past, present and future. The Hall will honor individuals who have made remarkable contributions to our state through their careers, ensuring their stories are never forgotten.

The WV Hall of Fame Foundation organized in January of this year.  Founded as an independent, non-profit educational institution, The WV Hall of Fame Foundation is dedicated to celebrating the contributions of West Virginians from all walks of life. Our Hall of Fame museum will serve as a testament to the diverse talents and accomplishments that have shaped our great state.  We are extremely excited to be a part of our history as we collect, display and preserve the people that make us such a great state to live in.

Our goal is to bring pride to the hearts of all West Virginians by providing a state of the art museum that will allow you to walk back in time from the beginning of WV.  We will highlight individuals who  achieved  greatness within their own time.  Those are the people we want to honor and for the ones that stand out we will induct and enshrine them forever in The WV Hall of Fame Museum.
